Achar Gosht is one of the popular Pakistani foods. It can be made using chicken, mutton and beef. If you love to eat spicy foods then you are at right place. Achar Gosht is made with meat, pickles and fiery spices that makes your mouth feel very hot when you eat it.


(/3-4 persons)

    1.     500g - Chicken meat 

    2.     3 - Tomato (Medium size)

    3.     1 - Onion (Medium size)

    4.     250g - Yogurt

    5.     1 table spoon - Ginger + Garlic paste 

    6.     4-5 - Green Chili (as per your taste)

    7.     1 table spoon - Lemon Juice

    8.     Half cup - Cooking Oil

    9.     25g - National Achar Gosht Masala

   10.    Water as needed


 Method / Procedure:


  • Take 2 table spoons of Achar Gosht masala, add 1 table spoon lemon juice, mix it and fill this mixture in seed less green chilies.
  • Heat oil and fry sliced onion till it becomes light golden then add ginger garlic paste and fry it for a while.
  • Now add chicken and fry well for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Then add sliced tomato and fry again for almost 10 min.
  • Add yogurt and remaining Achar Gosht masala and fry well till the oil starts to separate.
  • Add almost half cup of water then cover and cook on low heat until meat is tender.
  • Now place stuffed chilies (we prepared in first step) over the meat then cover and cook on low heat until oil separates from gravy. 

Yo, tasty Achar Gosht is ready to serve.

You can garnish it with coriander leaves and sliced ginger and serve it with hot 'Naan' or 'Chapati'.

If desired remove excessive oil before serving.
